Momentum Mast in the Boat Shop

We brought Momentum’s mast into the boatshop yesterday for repairs. Momentum is a 1964 Lash built Friendship Sloop, 31′ on deck, a USCG inspected vessel.

The 900 pound mast is inside the BMC boatshop and thawing out next to the student built St. Ayles Skiff, Mighty Oak.

We strapped a receiver on the mast, which is 38'6", for towing, and borrowed the spar cart from BMC's neighbor, the Brig Niagara for the move. The topmast is strapped to the mast.
