Project SAIL

  Our Spring session of Project SAIL 2014 is in full swing. What a phenomenal group of teens! Many of these students are Bhutanese refugees who have lived most of their lives in refugee camps in Nepal  Project SAIL Coordinator, Amanda Loose, summed it up best when she said, ” While we try to teach our students about life, our students teach us what life is all about!” Click here to learn how you can apply to Project SAIL       Great job, everyone!  The “Mighty Oak” looks amazing.  


New Bayfront Maritime Center Programs to Help Veterans, Promote Rowing

The Sunday Erie Times News ran a story today covering BMC’s 2 new programs that will begin this spring. Thank you to the Erie Insurance Giving Network for supporting  BMC’s important new program, Veterans at EASE, designed  to help United States Veterans.    


Rowing in the warm winds

BMC’s  community rowing program is underway. The teamwork and community building skills that come from a traditional rowing augment the many other programs  that BMC runs.
