Gage, a graduate of BMC’s after-school program Project SAIL, is currently featured in the United Way of Erie County‘s Faces United campaign. Gage was accepted into the program in January, where he received a hands-on learning experience that translated into a passion for carpentry and boats, especially the U.S. Brig Niagara. Gage’s experience through Project SAIL set him on the path of being accepted into Central Tech Career & Technical School’s carpentry program. BMC is a United Way of Erie County funded organization.

Project SAIL is currently recruiting for its fall session. For more information, go to: https://bayfrontcenter.org/education/project-sail/

“We have embarked on a bold journey: one that links solid, research-based community strategies to the resources needed to implement them.
