Bayfront Maritime Center hosted the Third Annual Presque Isle Bay Messabout on August 16-17, 2014 at their waterfront campus.

There were many beautiful hand-crafted boats on display.

  • Traditional Design/Traditional Construction – Whaleboat “Bruce” – Craig Holm & DJ Kitzel
  • Best Restoration – Rhodes 29 “Altair” – Joe Nagle
  • Traditional Design/Contemporary Construction – Elgin 16 – Gary Kilmer
  • Best in Show – Caledonia Yawl “Delight” – John Shinaberger
  • Best Paddling Boat – Strip Canoe “Prospector” – Chris Laird
