BMC is adding two additional student stations with Radar and ship controls to its Buffalo Computer Graphics Maritime Training Simulation Equipment. This was announced today in Maritime Reporter and Marine News Magazine.

This expansion will enable BMC to offer USCG Unlimited Radar Observer and Radar Observer Re-certification courses for mariners.
BMC will offer Radar Observer Endorsements and Re-certification Courses.
Simulator training time may sometimes be logged double as underway training time by the United States Coast Guard, as well as the Federal Aviation Administration, because simulator training scenarios can include so much more activity than real time vessel operation.
This upgrade was made possible in part from an Erie Community Foundation grant.
