As Erie area’s only US Sailing Keelboat certified school, the Bayfront Maritime Center, used to offfer instruction for the novice and intermediate sailors alike.

Fifteen hours of instruction cover: parts of the boat, how sails work, basic sail trim, basic sailing directions, changing direction tacking, jibing, steering, starting and stopping, knots, reefing, anchoring, basic navigation rules, safety and emergency procedures, and MORE!
