The new deck piece is scarfed on. The two top planks scarfs are prepared and ready for new ends.

Now that the fore part of the deck is repaired, the top plank ends can go on and the toe-rails refastened.
Fairing the hull.
The lower starboard corner of the transom has been replaced.
Sir, I just bought a 1973 Venture 224 trailer sailboat I’m replaceing all the rigging on the boat ,because the last owner removed everything off the mast and only left the light on it! I have figer out the stand off cabels and the spreader and jib line to hold the mast in place! Now the hard stuff got (red line for the jib) and ( Blue line for main sheet and block and tackel for boom ) I have run into thiis stragen set of blocks one on each side of mast,thay are bolted to the top! Thay are 6″ down from mast cap,( not in line with slot for main sheet ? Do I use 2 lines to lift the the sail,or how does it work? Thank You for your help
