Adventure Under Sail with Howard Rice

Back by popular demand, Howard Rice is returning to BMC with his new presentation of video, photos, and tales of remote and exotic sailing adventures. Howard Rice will be presenting a fascinating glimpse into the life of a modern day explorer. His first hand account of his solo sailing adventures from around the world will mesmerize anyone who has ventured beyond their comfort zone.

“Adventure Under Sail”

Small boat sailor Howard Rice has returned to Erie to help build the Porcupine. Join us as he shares a few of his experiences rounding Cape Horn solo, sailing remote Pacific islands, the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia, and more, via small traditionally rigged boats.

This will be a fascinating presentation of photos, video, and stories touching on people, exotic cultures, and of sailing the smallest wooden boats in some of the most remote, beautiful and challenging places on earth.

Program 7:30pm-9:00pm Saturday, September 19th
