Power Squadron Safe Boating Class March 2020

Our America’s Boating Course is held at the Bayfront Maritime Center on Monday nights from 7pm-9pm and continues for 8 weeks. The cost is $50 per person with a discount for a second person if two people are sharing a book. There is an additional cost for plotting supplies if needed.

Items covered include water sports safety, PWC’s, legally required equipment, boating regulations, right of way rules, and marine radios. In addition, the course also looks at basics of reading nautical charts, plotting a course, and the use of a GPS. If you are an experienced boater, you may request the test only.
